As SiGMA Asia 2026 approaches, SiGMA News turns the spotlight on Asia’s evolving online gaming landscape. The SiGMA Asia Market Report 2026, powered by data from market intelligence provider Blask, maps the operators, markets, and regulatory trends shaping one of the world’s largest gaming ecosystems.

The report covers the period from April 2025 to March 2026. Data shows that the region generated a combined Blask Index of 4.44 billion. The report said that there are 155.7 million active players in the region and an estimated cumulative revenue of $45.5 billion across 28 analysed markets. The Blask Index represents the aggregated level of user interest in gaming brands, measured through attributed search activity and digital engagement signals.

Among the region’s highest-engagement markets are the Philippines, Turkey, Bangladesh, India and Vietnam. Meanwhile, operators tied to Southeast Asia and South Asia dominated the rankings for aggregated user interest.

Casino Plus: Philippine market leader

Casino Plus emerged as one of Asia’s highest-performing iGaming operators in the SiGMA Asia Market Report 2026. The firm recorded a Blask Index of 115.22 million and 3.42 million players.

Casino Plus primarily serves the Philippine market, reflecting the growing concentration of revenue and engagement within the country’s regulated online gaming sector. Its rise reflects the strength of the regulated Philippine gaming market, supported by local licensing frameworks of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). The report said that growing consumer demand for mobile-first gaming platforms also contributed to this.

Merit King: Turkey’s leading regional brand

Merit King ranked among the top operators in Asia with a Blask Index of 108.23 million and estimated revenue of $645.9 million.

The operator was identified as one of the strongest regional players in Turkey’s betting market. Turkey remains one of Asia’s highest monetising gaming economies, recording estimated peak monthly revenue of approximately $944.5 million during the reporting period.

Jaya9: Bangladesh’s cricket-driven operator

Jaya9 recorded a Blask Index of 104.50 million and 3.11 million players.

The operator forms part of a wider Bangladesh-centred cluster of brands including Baji, MCW, JeetBuzz, BABU88 and Crickex. According to the report, these brands benefit from strong engagement tied to cricket-focused betting audiences across Bangladesh and neighbouring South Asian markets.

Bangladesh recorded one of Asia’s highest engagement levels despite operating without a fully regulated iGaming framework.

Baji: Cross-border regional contender

Baji posted a Blask Index of 102.31 million. The report identified the gaming operator as one of Asia’s strongest regional operators. Among operators active in five or more jurisdictions, Baji ranked first by total Blask Index.

Its performance reflects the growing influence of cross-border operators navigating Asia’s fragmented regulatory environment.

Adjarabet: Caucasus regional force

Adjarabet recorded a Blask Index of 102.04 million. The operator was highlighted alongside Merit King as one of the strongest regional gaming brands in Turkey and the Caucasus. Operating across three markets, Adjarabet has maintained strong user engagement through regional expansion and localised offerings.

MCW: Expanding through localisation

MCW posted a Blask Index of 98.43 million and 3.04 million players across six markets.

The report identified MCW as part of the Bangladesh-centred operator cluster expanding through cricket-led audiences and localised digital engagement. Among regional operators, MCW ranked second overall by the total Blask Index.

1xBet: Asia’s widest-reaching operator

1xBet recorded a Blask Index of 91.16 million. According to the report, 1xBet maintained the broadest regional footprint of any operator in the rankings, operating in all but one of the analysed markets. The company’s scale demonstrates the growing role of cross-border operators leveraging fragmented regulation across Asia.

The report also identified 1xBet as one of the continent’s leading regional operators, ranking among the top 10 by both revenue and geographic reach.

JeetBuzz: Rising South Asian brand

JeetBuzz recorded a Blask Index of 88.19 million. The operator forms part of the growing South Asian gaming ecosystem centred around Bangladesh and cricket betting audiences. The report highlighted JeetBuzz as one of the region’s stronger mid-tier cross-border operators, benefiting from high engagement in unregulated markets.

BABU88: Expanding in South Asia

BABU88 completed the top operator rankings with a Blask Index of 76.71 million and 2.31 million players across two markets. BABU88 reflects the influence of South Asian betting demand, particularly within cricket-led audiences.

Asia’s gaming market continues to formalise

The SiGMA Asia Market Report 2026 concluded that Asia is no longer an emerging gaming market but an active ecosystem undergoing regulatory transition.

Joe Pisano, founder and chief executive of Jade Entertainment and Gaming Technologies, described the region as “an existing market that is still formalising.”

Riaan van Rooyen, chief executive of Aria International, said regulation functions as “a monetisation engine,” enabling governments and operators to better capture value through legal frameworks, taxation and payment integration.

The report found that Southeast Asia remains the region’s primary growth engine, while South Asia represents one of the world’s largest untapped regulatory opportunities. Across the continent, the balance between regulation, enforcement and monetisation is expected to shape the next phase of industry growth.

Asia’s undisputed regional heavyweight lands in Manila, 31 May to 03 June 2026. Backed by PAGCOR and powered by 16,000 delegates, SiGMA Asia delivers two levels of game-shaping influence. If you’re serious about the region, this is the room for you.
